I eat a healthy base most days, but then eat junk food on top of. It has been my goal for along time to get rid of refined carbs from my diet. In my opinion refined carbs are probably the root of most diet issues more so that fat. Eat as natural as you can, stay away from process food, and get exercise! I will always eat butter over margarine, and don't worry too much about fat.

I was on this site previous but got tired of logging and figured I should be able eat healthy on my one. I have yo-yo'd about 15 lbs. I am back here log my diet due to health issue with my digestive system.

I am an older father with two younger teenage daughters (16 & 13), one who has depression and refuses to live with me.

My second goal is to get more sleep, as I definitely don't get enough, and so many studies have shown lack of sleep contributes to health problems and weight gain etc. I have averaged 6 hours 46 minutes of sleep a night since January. Need to improve this!!!
