my job sends me traveling on a weekly basis. i am away from home anywhere between 15 and 20 days a month. i eat about 75% of my meals in restaurants... both sit down and fast food. i get exercise on the road but practically none at home.
i am a breast cancer survivor (5 years since my single mastectomy). unlike most people, i actually GAINED weight during chemo. the doctors told me not to diet and to eat anything i wanted, since most things would taste different during chemo and being sick would probably make me lose weight (which they want to avoid). well... hello! 20 pounds heavier and fighting it ever since.
been up and down on the weight chart since my surgeries, but it's time to really take control.
