Life long foodie of Ukrainian and Irish descent (never met a perogy or a potato I didn't like), now finding my way through type 2 diabetes.
Long term goals? To be medication free (high blood pressure and diabetes), to lose 140ish pounds (already down 70), and to be the active, happy, healthy mom my beautiful children deserve.
Goal #1 - To weigh what I did when we got married (274 lb) ACHIEVED! April 2013
Goal #2 - To weigh less than my husband (245 lb) ACHIEVED! July 2013
Goal #3 - To weigh less than my husband (245 lb) AGAIN by mid-April
Goal #4 - To have lost 75lb (total) by mid-May
Goal #5 - To have lost 100lb (total) by Labour Day weekend 2014
Goal #6 - To be off my high blood pressure meds by mid-September 2014
Goal #7 - To be off my diabetes meds by April 2015
