Does anyone else feel like they are 'fake' losing weight?
I just went through about a month where I was very frustrated. I was weighing myself daily, and watching the fluctuations. Never again. Once a week, maybe twice.
Also, like others have mentioned here, I rely on other measures as well. For example, today, I'm wearing size 38 jeans, and I was also able to slip my wedding ring off and on. Now, I don't really want to not wear my ring, but this is a landmark for me. So, I'll celebrate.

Wow! It's great to jump in and see a lot of others posting up! I've sent buddy requests to you all!
I had a bit of a difficult time fixing a number as a goal weight. I did a lot of research and got a kind of average for my age and height (47 and 5'10" ) . That's the number I landed on. But I'm not fixated on it.
