Trying to change my mindset from feeling defeated to feeling successful with just some bumps in the road.

Blood Sugar(bs)was 139 at 10:00 a.m. Only drinking water since 7:00 p.m. last night. This is the highest morning bs I have ever had while doing LCHF. So frustrating... I waited an hour, it dropped down to 118. What happened to my low 100's??? Atkins meal bars at lunch? Hmmmm...IDK...

I have not cheated whatsoever. Although, I haven't felt myself or slept good for the last few days.

Just imagine, I could have had a sugary dessert or a margarita last night and woke up with a 139 bs, but I didn't. Something is definitely going on in my body. Time to check in with my primary care doctor. Just sent her a message.

Tomorrow, Saturday I'm going to lab to have the following blood tests done:
EDIT: Lab closed Saturday, Going on Monday!
Ordered by Neurologist:
FOLIC ACID LEVEL
VITAMIN B12 LEVEL
GLYCOHEMOGLOBIN A1C

Ordered by Primary Care Physician:
VITAMIN D LEVEL

Got a call in to the Endocrinologist for 24 hr urine Cortisol test results.

After waking up: Blood Sugar was 113. Ugh (I'll never understand how the body can have sugar when when on low carb.)

Lordy...I am happy as a pig playing in mud! Bloating and constipation gone. Weight back down from 280 to 276, but not down to my lowest of 274 this month. I didn't expect a drop since I took a sip of coffee w/regular creamer yesterday a.m., but I dumped it. On the road again!

Yesterday, I replaced some foods with Atkins meal bars and shakes to try to break my yo-yo. It seems to have worked. They are higher in carbs, but have lots of fiber, so net carbs are low. On the LCHF plan I am on, I'm not supposed to use artificial foods, but I was willing to give it a try so that I could turn things around.

I would like to thank everyone on FS that have supported me
and talked me through another army crawl.

Majorly FLUSTERED today... I am back up 2 lbs. What a yo-yo. I am really bloated and constipated. I am doing psyllium fiber and citracel fiber 2x day diligently. I drink as much water as I possibly can, until it causes acid reflux, which is almost every late afternoon into the evening. Then I have to take an acid reducer and it's 50/50 whether it works or not. I am not walking like I should, so I got to get over my chronic fatigued self and just do it, everyday. I have not been getting restful sleep for awhile. I think this is because I am so frustrated with not losing weight when I have done everything right. I also need to start being creative with my lunch and dinner meals. Again, I let my CFS get in my way. I have all the foods to do it, just need to follow through.

I did a cortisol 24 urine test awhile back, endocrinologist has been out of the office, still waiting on results. I am really curious if this has affected my weight loss progress. I hope to hear something soon.

Week before last, I sent a message to my primary doctor that I was not losing. She offered to send me to weight management center. I told her I wished to think about it because it is in SF Bay area, and that means lots of long distance driving. Besides my CFS, I would have a hard time meeting my water requirement for LCHF. I am seriously considering it though, after I get my cortisol test results back.

This morning I almost decided to change my WOE after I weighed. I have been contemplating it for a week now. Not because I can't do LCHF, but because of the constant yo-yo of my weight. I planned a day on a different WOE, but as soon as I had a sip of coffee w/2 Tbs of regular coffee creamer and liquid stevia, I changed my mind. I've worked to hard this long to give in so easily. So, I'm gonna take it easy on myself, and quit worrying and beating myself up.

Eliminating pressurized whip cream that I use on coffee to see if that helps.

One day, One step at a time. I got this!
