Hello! My name is April - and I want to lose weight. I am a wife, a mother, a student - majoring in special education. For the past few years I have been going up and down on the scale - and I am never happy with the result. I have decided that as soon after my baby girl is born I will lose it all - and be the fit mommy that I want to be!

My husband and I recently decided that we want to be healthier, so we are trying a vegetarian diet.

I'm looking for friends that are in the same boat as me! We can help each other and encourage one another.

I have a question for everyone.
The fact that I want to be healthy for my husband, son and soon to be baby girl is the thing that has helped me the most with weight loss..

Eating Every 2 to 3 Hours Helps My Metabolism . . .
I agree - Snacking, as long as it isn't a candy bar or something else that isn't healthy (basically empty calories) then it totally helps me to stay full and not over eat at my regular meals.
