I had weight loss surgery 3 years ago, and I am close to my weight goal. I am a mother of three ranging from 7 to 24, a wonderful husband, two female dogs, and a tank full of fish. I am currently finishing up my bachelors degree in Behavioral Science, and looking forward to continuing my education for my Masters to become a therapist for PTSD and survivors of child sexual abuse. I am a huge believer in helping others, volunteering, and finding the positives in every moment.

Duodenal Switch WLS dieter
Hi, 3 years ago I had the DS weight loss surgery (WLS), and I have had extreme success with it so far, but I have noticed over the last 5 months that I have pretty much plateaued. With that being said, I found this site today, joined and am trying to figure out the best way for me to proceed to lose the last maximum of 77 pounds that the doctors would like to see me at. I will be honest, but I would be comfortable finishing up at 180 ( which is 40 pounds to lose), the doctors want me at 143 when it's all done and said, so I figured I would meet somewhere in the middle for my goal of 160.

With all of that being said, I am still waiting to have my hernia surgery completed so that eliminates some of my better known exercise activities that I like to do. I do walk anywhere between 2-4 miles a day at least 3x a week, but that is about it to be honest. I know I should do more, but I have not done so lately.

The other thing is I am looking for a calculator of sorts that I could input all of the ingredients from recipes to get the nutritional breakdown per serving especially counting calories, protein, and carbs. For all intent purposes, my diet is very low carbs and high proteins. I shoot for no more than 100 grams of carbs a day; a minimum of 100 grams of proteins, but I know for the most part I get no where near either of that since having my surgery.

Any support, guidance on answers or conversation is always appreciated. May everyone have a great weekend!!
