I'm a 27 year old gal who managed to not gain the "freshman 20" but did happen to find the post college 50! It would be lovely to say that it was because of hormones and medications (birth control) but you can't place the blame soley on that. I've become less and less active throughout the past few years and I'm on my way to change that. I have recenly joined a gym and I now have a personal trainer. My first goal is to lose 40lbs, but to be realistic, I just want to look halfway decent in a 2 piece swimsuit again. Once I hit that mark, I very well could be motivated enough to lose much more.

I have not started my diet yet, but in just by going to the gym, I've lost 2 pounds in my first week attending! Diet starts first thing tomorrow am! :)
