Thanks! I manually entered all the info earlier, but it still wasn't pulling up the bar code. So I followed your instructions and scanned it, then searched for it by the name I had entered already, and it pulled it up. Then when I scanned the bar code again, it pulled it up correctly. So I didn't do it quite like you did, but it worked. lol

Just scan the barcode, and when it comes up not finding anything, do your search/enter all the info in, hit save like you're addind it to your diary for that day(even if you're not eating it) and then it is automatically added. Afterwards, you can go back and delete it from your diary and it will still stay in the database. I just added some lemon pepper pasta from Trader Joe's this way.
