This has been a year of great changes in my life: turned 50, sent my baby away to college, emptied my nest, and lost my father..and that was just the 3mos of summer. I felt old, frumpy, useless, and lost. So, I got myself a make-over, revamped my resume, and went back to work after 20+ of being a stay-at-home/homeschool mom. I feel fabulous & beautiful and 100lbs won't change that. But I want to be healthy,go dancing, and play with grandchildren someday...and 100lbs will change that! So it's time to start this journey. I've set my first goal of loosing 10% of my weight (25lbs). I have several medical obstacles to overcome (including inactive thyroid), so if I can loose that much, then I'll readjust my goal and keep going.
