performance: Steady
lacto vegetarian for my entire life (both parents lacto vegetarian, so raised that way)
started my undergraduate degree in 2007, weight 106 lbs (compulsory medical on entry into the university)
graduated from undergraduate degree in 2011 and started postgraduate degree in the same year (same university)
over time have had to buy new clothing due to weight gain... wasn't too worried until ppl started commenting on my size...but shrugged it off...also noticed my first grey hair in 2012(attributed to study stress)
went for a checkup in november 2011 (first blood test and first time being weighed since the medical on entry into the university)... reesult... 143 lbs a gain of 37 lbs since starting my studies... quite a shock to me as i've been skinny for most of my life... and more worryingly... bad cholesterol just below the level where i need to start worrying... still within the "normal weight" range but my body is not as attractive as it used to be and clearly my health is not where it should be...especially as i'm only 24yrs old...
tried just cutting out unhealthy foods and eating oatmeal to help with the cholesterol since the test results... but need to do something about the excess weight...so as of dec 30th 2012 have started counting calories using this website... and have already had some suprises... some things have way more calories than i imagined....
now i want to do something about it... also just cleaned out my cupboard resulting in three garbage bags of new clothing that i have no hope of fitting into now... not going to allow myself to buy any more clothing until i'm down to a better size...
also want to try to exercise... but not sure how that will work out once the semester starts back...

instead of using olive oil with my string beans and potato i squeezed a lemon over them, added some sea salt and freshly ground black pepper... i think ...
