Adding Weights While Walking
I work in retail eight hours a day, all spent on my feet, and walk an average of two to three miles a day at that job. I go straight from that job to a desk job for another six hours, so have literally no time to go to the gym. I'm not losing the weight I want as fast as I want (yes. I know. Patience.Rolling Eyes) but am wondering if anyone has heard anything about adding weight during my day, like ankle weights, to maximize the time on my feet. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Here's an off topic question since we all seem so bored...
For my second wedding we threw a weekend event at our home and invited about 40 people between us, just the closest of our friends and family. We had a couple of acres and invited everyone to come on Friday evening for a light dinner and cocktail party. Some people brought campers and tents and camped out. Early Saturday afternoon was the wedding which we had outdoors on our deck. I'm a caterer and catered the whole thing which was a blast! After the wedding, we had a big reception and opened the house. Everyone stayed til late and we left for an overnight at a rented cabin in the woods not far from our home. The next morning, we got back and I fixed brunch and people stayed for part of the day and then left later in the afternoon. We were tired, but it was the most fun we'd had in a long time and our friends still talk about how much fun they had as guests at our gypsy wedding. Smile Best of luck to you!
