Need help chose P90X Nutrition Plan
The food or the exercise plan? The food plan has 3 phases, the 1st is a low carb high protein, the second is balanced and the third is more carbs. I'm a grad, but didn't follow the eating plan. It was too much food for me--that may explain why I didn't lose a single pound! You have to eat to lose--especially when you are working out hard. You will know when to move out of phase 1. You will crash without carbs after a while. Once you notice that you're getting extra tired and you aren't noticing any gains with the amount of weight you lift, I would switch to phase 2. For some people this is only a few days. Phase 2 is basically a well balanced diet. But, I would move on to phase 3 when you move to phase 3 in the exercise regime.
