how does wearing a pedometer on your bra or wrist track how many steps you take? what is it measuring?

What if my NET is more than 500
low activity, i walk... and lose 1 lb/wk

What if my NET is more than 500
it says i should be eating 2800 calories... i am making smart choices and eating 6 times a day... that just feels like i wouldnt be eating sooo much, especially since i feel satisfied when i eat 1000 less
