Survived the summer season of drinking, eating and sitting around and escaped with only gaining two pounds. On to the next one-trying a plant based diet with "some" meat (2 ounces every couple of days). Not bad so far.

lost so far: 17.0 lb

still to go: 10.0 lb

Over the last two weeks I started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at 52 years of age. It was difficult to find the courage to walk through the door of that business. Definitely felt intimidated. But the people are wonderful, the training and support is out of this world. I was concerned about injury but no one there is out to hurt you a great training experience. Anyone can do this. YOU WILL GET A MAJOR WORKOUT. Find a studio near you and never look back. Bring lots of water with you.
