15 November 2014
My diet planning is going well as usual when I'm at camp...well under my RDI for the day. I don't have my scale here, but I feel like my pants are loosening.
I've talked to my girlfriend about my eating habits at home and said that I may not have some of everything that she cooks, as I am trying to control my intake. She understands and is going to try to cut back on what she cooks. I told her that she can cook like normal, I can learn to control myself...I need to learn self-control when it comes to my eating. Not going to blame the restaurant when we go out, it has to be my choice.
Never quit trying!

Had a great food day yesterday, so much easier when I'm in camp! Followed my plan to a tee. I just need to plan at home, that is my biggest problem. Family doesn't want to eat what I do, so I eat what they do...not great for someone who is trying to lose weight. I have another six days here, then back to the battle zone of home ;-)
I'm not meeting my targets in my profile, but you don't fail unless you quit trying...so I keep trying!
Later.

Another month down...I'll weigh in when I get home on Friday morning. I've kept up the veggie diet, although some days there are no veggie sandwiches or wraps in camp so I end up with meat sandwiches...helps with protein I guess. My weight dropped 6lbs this month (possibly more, but I won't know until Nov 5th). The weight is just a gauge, I just want to get my blood sugar in check and have more energy. I'm still surprised that such low calories is keeping my satisfied, just have to watch that I don't eat out of boredom...lots of water and/or coffee to stem the snack impulse.
This work shift is one day longer, so I'll stick to my diet an extra day. But my weigh in will be later than usual. I usually try to weigh in Thursday morning after my shift, and Wednesday morning before I head off to work...I'll also try to do a journal entry at those times for my own records.
If I continue this 1800cal diet, the weight should just fall off...might have to buy new pants!
