I'm 47 yo, married, 6 cats, one collie no kids, but not for lack of trying. Five years ago I gained 40# for no apparent reason (maybe stress of new job?)and the next year lost 30 for the same reason. I tried to lose on and off and nothing worked until it just dropped off. Depression? Hormones? who knows...
I've since crept up another 10 and decided to put the breaks on.
I haven't exercised regularly in 10 years and that is something I really want to get back to doing although I have arthritis in my hips. It would help with the stress. It is -10 here though and hard to walk the dog for long! I wish the exercise choices included "walking large unruly puppy".
