Good Friday Morning!!

Thanks for all the encouraging words on my last journal. Classes are near... whew, I'm feeling the jitters, lol. My children are doing well. I've been doing the "Mommy" thing for so long that I don't know quite how to feel putting my last child in school. I feel guilty in a way that I'm able to do my own thing and they are in someone else's care, lol. I'm being silly. My baby sis, whom was supposed to be in school with me, is transferring out and moving next weekend. She'll only be about 45 min away.. but still, I felt for once in our lives that we had something in common. I'm 10 years older than she is. I'm happy for her though.

OK... I guess I am supposed to journal about my diet so here goes... I'm still doing well. The cravings for sugar are gone (I guess) or either I've been running around so much lately that I haven't had time for cravings. I keep forgetting to weigh in the mornings and can't trust the scale in the middle of the day. I do know that I have lost a little just by my clothes. I think I had put on some extra weight since the last time I weighed in here so I'm not really sure what the number will be, but I know I'm on the right track. Maybe this is just what I needed... to stay busy, busy, busy! I know lately, when my head hits the pillow - I'm out!! Haha.

Did a lot of yard work yesterday preparing for the 4th of July shin dig here at my house. I'm so proud of how "clean" and refreshed everything looks out there! Got 30 minutes in on the treadmill yesterday, Yay Me!! I am gonna hit it again as soon as I get off here. Whoever said it becomes addictive is right! The more I get on the treadmill... the more I want to keep it up! Yesterday's menu was made up of too much heavy cream... a lot of cucumbers, a little tomato.... pickles & jalapenos, Ranch.. a can of tuna and a bit of turkey deli meat. I also had some walnuts with blueberries and raspberries. I didn't do all that hot on the keeping down the carbs but something just came over me, lol. I gotta work harder... or either exercise harder!! Yeah, that last part sounded better, after all... I's likes to Eat, HA!!
Have a great holiday folks... I probably won't have another chance to stop by until after the 4th... so Happy 4th to Ya!!
