45 year old female. I'm a nurse in a cancer center, which is very stressful, but I love it. I have two kids 22 and 14. 22yr old is married and out of the house, 14 yr old is into football and wrestling, so we are very busy with afterschool activities. I use food as a drug of choice, as a crutch, as a comfort, as a punishment and as a reward. Oh, and I'm diabetic. Trying to develop healthy eating habits, knowing when enough is enough and not feeding my emotions. I'm trying to make small lifestyle changes i.e. taking the stairs at work once a day. 30 minutes a day exercising, drinking 2 liters of water a day. Just gonna take it one day at a time, one goal at a time, one pound at a time!

Is anybody else on the 17 day diet??
I started this diet on Sunday 4/24 with my husband. He weighed in on Wed and had lost 9lbs. I weighed this morning and had lost 4.5lbs. It drastically reduces calories and teaches how to eat "right" by allowing unrestricted protein and cleansing vegetables, 2 probiotic choices, 2 low sugar fruits, lots of water, green tea and exercise. Sounds pretty simple right? It actually is!! I thought my husband would've cheated by now, but he's doing really well, although he's grumbling about eating the same things all the time. I'm doing well, and I actually had to have my surgeon reduce the restriction in my gastric band so that I could eat more protein and vegetables. But, i feel great!! Is anyone else doing this, we could compare notes and commiserate together?!

Yes there is! go to <enter food> tab. There is a print tab at the top and when you click it, it will give options on whether you want to print single day or by week. This was very useful to me when I was going to a nutritionist b/c i would just record what i was eating and print it out for her. Good luck.
