Yeah sushi is low cal, but when you're diabetic, you gotta avoid all that rice. Which is a shame cause I love sushi.

Only a few nuts, olives, looked like a tablespoon of crumbled cheese and like 4 small pieces of tofu. Certainly not 670 worth.
I guess it only proves your point Hoser.....salad is not always low cal.

Today I was in a huge hurry and I stopped at Wegmans (local supermarket) and if anyone knows this place, they usually have great lunch items available. I really wanted a little bit of sushi, so I grabbed the smallest pack of california roll they had and then grabbed a salad.
It's the salad that gave me the shock. It wasn't until I was finished with it that I noticed the calorie content in this salad.
670......670???????? are you freaking kidding me? Sure there was salad dressing but it was only 140 worth of the total.
Here I was thinking that having a quick salad was a good idea......

So I am starting with cutting out Coke, that is my achilles heel
Last time I lost weight (5+ years ago) the first thing I did was cut out soda and it's the same thing I'm doing again this time. When you start adding up all the calories just in soda, it's an eye opener!

Subway is hands down always the winner tho.
Yeah true, but there are only so many Italian subs I can eat.....
