6' 35 yr old with perpetual image issues. Hoping the change in my lifestyle will help get rid of my distorted view. Looking to lose 15 to 20 lbs

I should also keep in mind I am working on building muscle, so if I don't meet my weight loss goal per se' hopefully I can fit into those jeans I like much much better!

7 lbs in 7 days on the South Beach diet!
that is awesome! congrats! Maybe I should check it out because I feel like I can never push past a certain point and then I get way discouraged and become all lazy again and just don't care. Is there alot to do on the SoBe Diet? Is it easy to follow?

How can I get more protein into my diet?
I would also look at just getting a protein whey supplement/shake/bar if you can. Eating too much soy can have detrimental effects..just something to think about

body fat scale
I have one of those and I hate mine...I must never be very hydrated because it always reads that I am ~35% body fat. Losing 15% of my body weight, assuming that the weight lost is just fat and my muscles don't grow or shrink I would be ridiculously underweight!
Maybe I got a bad one?

Yes, it is the muscles getting shaky. I am not feeling light headed. Just when I push myself and feel that burn come on...even after a cool down I am still pretty shaky. Just wanted to make sure that was all good and not bad. I also try and make sure that if I get that shaky feeling I don't push the same muscle group that hard the next day...don't want my muscles breaking down on me! Smile
Sent you a buddy request...won't you be my buddy,,,, Smile
