Happily married, have 2 children both under 10 years old.
Been yo-you dieting since early teens - started with Slimfast, went to Herbal Magic, Sommersize, Dr. Phil and many in between! Started Body For Life on January 9th, 2008 and haven't looked back. It's the easiest lifestyle change and workout I've ever been able to adapt. My goal is to lose 90 pounds by Christmas 2008. I've already dropped 30 in 4 months!
**Update - March 2009. So summer came and I was tent camping each weekend and very quickly, I found I stopped eating healthy and eating junky. Put about 15 pounds back on since the summer. I've only just started back to working out and changing my eating habits slowly. I think I went too much too fast and it didn't stick long enough. This time, I'm determined it will stick for life!
**Update - March 2010. Interesting how I update every year in March. Must be the Spring weather. Snow is gone (or at least doesn't stay longer than a day!). Time to get healthy!
***Update - April 2, 2011. Good grief! This is ridiculous! I started back to going to a healthy lifestyle on March 28th, and just thought today I should come back here to track it all. One year later, and I've gained 13 pounds. My husband lost his job due to a mill closure. We moved 700 km away from our home town. Kids had to adjust to new everything - especially our daughter who started kindergarten. That was back in September 2010. It's been an up-and-down several months for us, but we're heading toward an even keel now.
***Update - May 14, 2012. At least it's closer to summer than spring for my annual update! Ha! So what is this? Round 4? Here we go again!
