Originally from Massachussetts and now a Maine transpant, I am a happily married mother of three boys. My husband and I have an odd bit of role reversal as he is a stay at home dad who home schools our 10 year old son and I am a full time, working mother.
My goal with fat secret is to feel better both emotionally and physically by loosing weight in a manageable, realistic way. Truthfully, I have never really tried to "diet" and it was an eye opening experience for me to take a long hard look at how much food I was really eating.
I've tried to set the following goals for myself:
Reach 190 from my starting point of 210-Met!
Reach 170 - in progress
While this seems like a lot of weight, I feel that doing it in manageable chunks is a good thing. I feel like I've really accomplished something now that I've hit my first goal!
