Hello. My name is Carmen. I am the classic yo-yo dieter. Much like the polar bear, I put on my fat for the winter and shed it in the spring in time for summer. I've tried, it seems, every diet on the planet and the only one that seems to work for me is Dr Atkins. I have to follow a strict regimen which is the theory of Atkin's and must keep the wrong food out of my house. The advantage for me is that I have done the Atkin's diet, off and on, since 1998. I am a pro at it. The disadvantage now, is that I'm getting older and have acquired some health conditions over the last few years. These health conditions require medications that put and keep the weight on making dieting more of a struggle than it's ever been in my life. But, I am determined. I have several events coming up in the next year and I will meet my goal weight. Wish me luck!!

Your pharmacist can actually order the Ketostix in the pharmacy for you. I think they run around 15$ for 50 sticks. I use them once a day usually after dinner because that's when I seem to consume the most carbs. Just wanted to let you know that you don't have to buy those fancy expensive ones in the diet sections. Wink
