Current Weight:(16 Sep 11) 105.0 lb
Goal Weight:105.0 lb
following: ktfitzgerald's own diet
performance: losing 0.3 lb a week

I am a married 41 year old computer geek, mom of a 20 year old daughter who is in college and host-mom of a 17 year old exchange student from Norway.

In my 30’s I gained about 25 unwanted pounds. I have since lost them and now am focused on maintaining my weight between 105 and 110 pounds and staying motivated to exercise. I love to hike and kayak so that helps. I plan on hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail next year and am currently training for that.

I have a great job, great family and a good life. But I’m always striving for more. Who knows what I’ll try next:)

Don't be a stranger!
I have all my information public except I haven’t added a profile description, not for secrecy reasons, but because I don’t know what to say….”41 year old computer geek, mom of a 20 year old daughter, loves hiking and kayaking…” seems too much like a personal add. But I guess it’s time to bite the bullet and put something out there.

@kingkeld –I know your intent with this post was in-line with all the other posts of yours I’ve read – positive and helpful. I think you’re awesome. Hope that doesn’t upset Mrs. KeldWink

@sk1nnyfuture – You’re positivity is an inspiration. I’ve got the weight and exercise under control. My goal now is to be more like you!

help
I have problems with aerobics too. I have asthma, and I just hate to feel very winded because it can feel like and trigger an asthma attack. I’ve found that lifting weights has worked better for me. Recently I had surgery so I’m just starting to build back up so I ordered some 10 minute solution videos (kettlebell and toning for me , but they have a great variety) and do at least one every weekday morning before work. Walking is also good. I try to walk for 30 minutes 3 times a week. Good luck!

Why GREEK yogurt?
It has more protein. Protein is good for satisfying hunger ad helping to build and maintain muscle. I eat some almost every day with a little stevia mixed in to make it a bit sweeter.
