I'm going to adjust my macros, as I do not appear to be losing much. Could be bloat; found out corn wrecks my stomach. I don't eat it that much, so I never noticed before.

Here's the base goal for workout days:
Total Protein: 93
Total Fat: 54
Total Carbs: 143
Total Fiber: 18
Total Net Carbs:125
Total Calories: 1356

And the goal for rest days:
Total Protein: 116
Total Fat: 69
Total Carbs: 88
Total Fiber: 10
Total Net Carbs:78
Total Calories: 1395

Protein and work-out supplements end up making the workout day a little more, so even though it looks like I'm hitting a higher calorie count on rest days its not actually true. Probably another 200 calories or so on that day, and if I stick to my nighttime protein snack every day that's another 150 calories. Its going to round out to 1696 on work out days and 1545 on rest days. Totally doable.

I never weigh myself after deadlift day - that's just a recipe for disappointment. I can lift pretty heavy, so it takes some time for my muscles to return to normal.

In other news, last Friday, my company offered their last "Healthy Living" seminar. I missed the first two, unfortunately, but was able to attend the last two. This one focused on "self sabotage" and how we can stop doing it to ourselves.

We all have different ways of self sabotage, and its not always obvious that is what we're doing. When we try to change, our internal "critter brain" freaks out and we either fight, flight, or freeze.

I freeze. I become overwhelmed, and I end up doing nothing. The moderator advised that when this happens, I go back and think about my goals and why they're important, and keep asking the question "why" until we find out what my internal reasoning is for not wanting to follow through. I found it extremely meaningful, and I will definitely incorporate it into my work and personal life.
