I'm a 38 year old programmer, which, as you can imagine, means I spend 40 hours a week chained to a desk. This has made maintaining any kind of fitness challenging. I've recently gotten serious about getting back down to 180. That's how much I weighed last time I felt good about my body. So far I'm not doing any - only for lack of a better word since it doesn't really apply to some of them - "fad" diets. I'm just counting calories. I'm considering giving keto a try, but not until I get through the food that I currently have in the pantry.
I'm also getting a lot more exercise, going to the gym 3 times a week and playing hockey on the weekends. I'm using fatsecret to track my eating and exercise.
Mostly I'm just using fatsecret to track my calories and exercise. I don't weigh myself as often as I should and almost never first thing in the morning like people recommend, so my progress will probably seem to be pretty sporadic.
