Hi there,

I'm 32 and having put on 3 stone in two years (after having successfully lost those three stone with Atkins six years ago and kept them off for four) am back on track and back on Atkins!

My moment of realisation was on a recent holiday in The Gambia and realising there was no way I was happy with the way I looked in the massive bathroom mirror (very easy to ignore at home... and just buying the next size of clothes up every six months... but finding it harder and harder to ignore the fact I now find running, my previous favourite exercise, too uncomfortable now I'm larger.) My lovely bf says he doesn't mind my cuddly bits but I'd love to feel gorgeous again, even if it's mainly for me!

So I'm trying to get back to within a stone of the weight I was at 21, when I felt at my happiest and fittest. My main goal is to look okay in a swim suit when attending a friend's wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan on July 10th 2010. I'm really hoping to find mutual support here at fatsecret and to share tips and stories with some of you truly successful 'losers'! Best of luck to everyone out there on your journeys. I'm addicted to my two hardboiled eggs for breakfast. Boiled while I'm in the shower, left to cool in cold water while I'm dressing, and eaten at work at around 10am. It's the only breakfast I can face Wink

Weighing in everyday
I weigh myself a couple of times a week, but the real kicker for me is measuring myself, which I do three times a week. The way I know I'm losing is the way my clothes fit, which is my biggest motivator Smile My 'fat' jeans, only a couple of weeks ago straining at the seams, are starting to get baggy - after just a week!
