I'm 48 , female and have been up and down with my weight ever since I quit smoking about 14 years ago , not that I would ever go back to that. I joined weight watchers in february of 06 and had met my goal by aug. of that year. Then I went through a very difficult time with my bi-polar son and great financial stress and dropped out , it took me about a year to gain it all back. Iv'e also added an extra 8 lbs.
Anyway I started back on weightwatchers last week 5-7-09. I know it works , to me it was group support that motivated me the most.I feel older now than I did before , of course I AM OLDER , so the exercise is not as intense as I did before , but I'm doing it. Maybe
I'll get back to where I was before.
