My name is Kim ,I'm a 44 yr. old female, mother of three. 2 adult daughters(21&22) and a 4 yr. old son. (MY pride and joy) He was my 40th birthday present. Yeah for me. After I got preg. with him I quit smoking and gained and gained. I am approx. 60 lbs overweight and have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure. Everything is under control and I want to lose this weight to keep my health and be there for my children. Especially my son. He's to little to be without his mama. I live in Indiana and I'm a part time hairstylist. I joined La weightloss (Pure weight loss) at the end of Aug. So far I haven't really lost anything, I weighted in at 229.2 lbs. Then, had a free weekend before I actually started the program and my next weight in had put in 2 lbs. Now i'am back down and fluncuate between 226 and 229. I've lost 11.5 inches though. I try to stick to the plan as much as possible but some things I am not willing to give up, like my Int. del. coffee creamer in the morning with my splenda. I like it sweet.I'm actully quite agravated that I haven't lost more. I've been married 7.5 years. Have several animals, and am turning gray because of my kids...lol.

Hi everyone
I'm looking for a new way of life, to heavy, hips hurt and I need to get this weight off! I was on the lawl(changed to Pure weight loss) and folded. I've checked into Jenny Craig. Yep I'm sure it works, just can't afford 80-100.00 a week for my food and my familys. I would like to check into doing weight watchers, I just don't understand the way the program works, the 2 different plans.
I do cook my own dinners most of the time, occasionally do the Mc D. run or B.K sometimes,on the weekend we eat Pizza. Any help or persausion(sorry spelled wrong) would be appreaciated. I reallyd don't know what way to turn. I do know this weight has to come off. Maybe somebody could give me some examples of their dinners, lunches, breakfasts etc... or how do you cook for your family and count points?
Confused..Confused I'm 240lbs and would like to be down to 160-170. I just want to be able to walk and not hurt and to be able to play with my 4 yr. old d/s.

Is the lt bread 2 slices 1 or 2 starches? In my book it is 1 slice 1 starch. I just started lawl the end of Aug. and shortly after that (1or2) days it switched to Pure weight loss.Question

Hi, I'm a newbi, I like the lites, but after reading all the imput I did check my contract. It does say that you are required to purchase L A lites and what they cost etc... and then i had to initials it. I bought a years worth, so I guess i'm sort of stuck with it. I really wish i could just stop this diet. I need to lose the weight but I actually did better a year ago when I follow my diaticians diet she gave me when i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have x amount of carbs i could eat throughout the day and was to watch the portion sizes of my meals. I believe it was a 1800 cal. diet. Now I think the one that i'm on is between 1400-1800. Blue plan.2 1/2 Pro. 3 starch 3 veg. 3 fruits 1 fat 1 dairy.I follow it most of the time but not exactly. When i do cheat its because of unplanned surprises happening and i try to make the best choices available. I've lost 11.5 inches but really want to see the lbs start to come off. Any tips, also, are the any freebies. When I was on the diabetic diet, i had certain vegs.etc that i could eat and they wouldn't count. I try to talk to my counslers but there, well, i'm not goig to say. Lets put it this way, i don't trust what they say, I had asked about popcorn and was told absoultly not!!! That they had emailed the dietian about it several times and was told no. But I could buy theirs.I then emailed them myself and was told yup, 3 c. count it as a starch. Sorry about the spelling mistakes. This needs spell check lol!!!Doubt
