I am 26 year old female and I started Atkins about July 18th 2011. I was diagnosed with Graves an over active thyroid condition in December 2010. The past year I lost quite a bit of weight due to my condition and now that it has been modified with surgery removing my thyroid glands. I take thyroid replacement medication and I put on 20 LBS after the surgery, so I read up on Atkins and here I am! I like it so far but it’s had when I have little time to prepared meals with my work schedule and my boyfriend wants no part of the diet (he never gains a pound) so I do have tempting food in the house, but haven’t cracked! I would love support of others doing the same.

Down 2 lbs so far this week and thats 22 total in 5 weeks! Feeling better than ever and really trying to stay active. What kind of exercise are people doing? I have been doing water aerobics a few days a week and walking. Need some ideas so I don't get bored because I know its important. Also, this weekend I need to stay away for low-carb beer as sometimes i can't help myself after a long work week!
