My story is kind of a long one as I have always struggled with my weight.
I can remember being in the 5th grade(so around 10) and finding that I weighed either the same as, or possibly MORE than grandma. I think she was about 125 pounds.
Right before I turned 14, in December of 2000, I had reached 170 pounds. At that point I developed eating disorders and would flip flop between restricting, and bingeing and purging. By mid February(roughly 2-3 months later) I was down 50 pounds to 120.
Shortly thereafter, I was hospitalized for attempting suicide. There, the staff discovered I was purging my food, and proceeded to put me on eating disorder protocol.
I began to develop and eating disorder on the opposite end of the spectrum, and began just bingeing without purging. As a result I consistently gained weight throughout the years. I got married at 19(5 years later) and was at 175 POUNDS, and my weight continued to climb over the next 8 and a half years, topping out at 275 pounds.
I began working out with a CrossFit trainer. I had roughly 45 minute sessions, 3 days a week. I was also attempting to improve my eating habits, (but not really succeeding.) After 3 months, we could no longer afford for me to continue working out with her and I was forced to quit. On my last day, I was down 13 pounds. I tried to maintain some kind of fitness program on my own, but would very easily become discouraged, and eventually gave up altogether.
This brings us to today. Around mid April of this year(2016), my husband signed us up for a 30 day free trial of Beachbody on demand. We chose the program we wanted to follow(Chalean Extreme), I printed out her meal plan,(we can only follow some of it though, for financial reasons. But where we can't follow her diet exactly, we still pick healthy options), and I weighed myself(272)
