Hey Everyone!

I'm a 32 year old man. I'm trying to prove that you can have a family, work, play, entertain, diet, and train. It's not an impossibility, just a matter of drive.

I've been studying martial arts nearly all of my life and its one of my greatest loves. I enjoy resistance training, and have been putting a heavy focus on Muay Thai. At the end of the day, I look forward to curling up on the couch to a good movie or a book.

P.S. I'm 6'4" tall or 193 cm tall for you that use the metric system

You'll also find that as you learn to adjust your diet that you will see varying results when compared with other people. I know that for whatever reason that if I reduce my carbs below 210 g that I just feel miserable, and my workouts suffer becaues of it. This kind of knowledge comes with time and listening to how your body reacts to the nutrition that your getting.

Try to start with keeping your protein anywhere in the range that rabbitjb talked about and then move from there. Use a standard calculator online to get a quick answer and adjust as you progress.

At the outset though your caloric intake is going to tell the biggest tale.

So I had 1700 calories and change yesterday because I was hungry and ate until I wasnt. No bloating. Which i thought would happen from not doing that gradually but it Feels great! I see if I can keep it up today

Keep it up, sounds like your listening to your body. I'll be keeping an eye on your profile to see your forthcoming results!

looks like a standard 50/30/20 split with 1 g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Depending on her height and age (both of which I don't know) i'd think it might be slightly low for a bulk, but that's my guess.

How to curb late night eating?
Well after some research it would appear that there are almost no true scientific studies that I can find that debunk or support the theory that eating at night promotes a slow burn.

Regardless, eating before bed, is still, not necessarily a bad thing. It's what you intake and how that matters.

How to curb late night eating?
It's not especially bad to eat right before bed if you intaking the right things. A little cottage cheese or a casein protein shake right before bed can actually keep your metabolism higher as you sleep, as long as the intake is small. In fact a pre-bedtime snack is one of my favorite times of day.
