Weight used to never be a problem. I could eat whatever I wanted, even though I tended to eat healthy, and nothing would phase me. Then my metabolism started to slow down at age 34, and put on a lot of 'happy weight' in my first two years of marriage. Now in my 40's eating healthy & exercise needs to be a daily routine.
I have seen the devastating effects on my parents with them not exercising or eating healthy. I want to be able to keep up with my children. I want to be able to toss my grandchildren (someday) around. I want to be able to snowboard and do physical activities well into my 50's and 60's and beyond.
