I don't know why I feel more bloated and fat than usual. I have cut out carbonated drinks and I am drinking water a lot. Anyone have any ideas? I am losing weight slowly so I guess if I keep walking and so forth I may start to feel better. One more week until I am reunited with my dog Murphy. My friend is taking him to the vet tomorrow for a check up. He may have ticks.

GREAT NEWS!! My Murphy is back in California with my friend Gale. He is safe and this is the craziest story ever. His abductor called me yesterday and said i have your dog. What about that reward. I was on the alert for a scam and questioned him about what the dog looked like and that checked out. I asked how he got Murphy and he told me the most outrageious story that he saw the white woman take Murphy outside from the store and she stood around outside so he said he told her it was his dog and she handed him over. He went back to his car with Murphy and his wife (who was applying for a job inside came out and they drove away) So I am having a hard time getting all this and the wife gets on and says we just want to get your dog back to you. I told her I was back in SC and I had a friend who would connect with them. I asked for their phone number and she would not give it to me but said she would call me back. I frantically began trying to get hold of my friend but she had been in church and forgot to turn her phone on again. So this went on for hours me trying to get hold of Gale and them calling back. Finally it was arranged and my friend met them in front of Petco and sure enough it was Murphy and the woman who had a friend with her said What about the reward? Gale said I only have fifty dollars with me and you will have to contact Jane about the rest of the money. So of course she called me and I said I would be back in California on the 20th and she should call me then. The important thing is that Murphy is safe with Gale. And my clever friend made sure they did not follow her. So that is my miracle. I guess I had better talk to the police when I get back to CA. and . Love to everyone and thanks to God and St. Frances and all of you who prayed for my Murphy and me.

This post has nothing to do with my on going battle to lose weight so this is my journal and i need to post it. On march11 early in the morning I took my big sweet fluffy dog Murphy to the store with me. He loves to go anywhere with me. It was a nice cool morning in Lake Elsinore CA and off we went. I left him in the back seat wearing his collar tags and his leash while I ran into the 99 cent store to buy him some doggy wipes. Ten minutes later I came out to find him gone . I searched the entire mall parking lot calling and calling . . .no Murphy. I panic and run back into the store to ask if they saw him and the cashier says yep he came in the store but a lady took him back out. I have to say I have left no stone unturned in my search the surveillance tape shown to the police shows a full front picture of a woman taking a reluctant Murphy out of the store. They believe he is stolen by a white woman in her forties. Murphy has been my constant companion since my husband passed . He kept my husband company during the last year of his life while I was working and kept me from going crazy when he died. He has traveled thousands of miles with me and loves his family even grandchildren who are very young and squeeze too hard sometimes. Even though he is a great big dog he is gentle and careful around old people and babies. I only hope and pray he is being treated well and will somehow find a way home to me.

Well here I am again on the diet roller coaster and all my own fault I must admit. I am going to have to get back where I was and be a little tougher on myself. I have no babies here to chase and lots of time to feel sorry for myself so I am just going to have to shake it up put on my big girl panties and do whatever it takes. This is not a new years resolution it is a lifetime resolution. Happy New Year everyone.
