07 October 2019

It's Monday after a super busy and fun weekend.

The 1.6 (218.6) gain today is less than the 3.6 (220.6) gain from Friday. I didn't record it because I was so busy and I wanted to see Sats first.

Sat was the same, but the day was crazy and I did not get on Fatsecret to record it.

My doc appt on Thursday was just ok. My sugar, and triglycerides, and AC1 went up, but my liver #s were better. He told me to keep losing weight. A little disappointing all around.

Anyways:

Friday I went to two haunted excursions, and a very late dinner w my friend Bill. We ate at 10PM! Very late for me, but it was a blast.

Sat was a last min idea to go to Davis Mega Maze in Sterling MA. It's a 7 acre maze, and trivia and a scavenger hunt. It was a 1 hour 20 min drive from our friends' house. I was actually sore the next day. I climbed the hay tower, played life size chess w E (and won!), a huge connect 4 game (the pieces are like small dinner plates, and won!), plus Archer tag, and it took us 1.5 hours to get out of the maze.

Food was just ok for me. So, I didn't eat much. E & I went to Dunkin' and Burger King after, but then I was too full! LOL Ya can't win with me.

Sunday was a Borderlands 3 day with E. I tried my hand at Blackened Broccoli, which was delicious! Very restful day. I didn't even do laundry which I will probably regret this week. :-)

Today, I am getting my hair dyed and trimmed. E is just getting a trim. Afterwards, breakfast for dinner. Yay!

Thankful:
This was an excellent Halloween/Fall weekend. And next week is Salem with the kids! So excited that my friends and family love Halloween and the fall as much as I do.

Goals:
Exercise! I am glad my body reminded me that it likes high/low calorie days. I was doing to many lows, and too many fasts. My goal is to lighten up on my strictness. It is not just the end result, it is also the journey. Thanks for the reminder buddies!

Positive Thoughts:
I love how this journey might have been derailed for a week but I didn't give up. I still tracked to the best of my ability, I took my gain with an "oh well" shrug, and I did not once binge because my Doc appt was not as joyous as I thought it would be. This week will be better. Why, because I got this on lock!

Happy Day Friday!

I made my goal for 10/3, for my gastro doc appointment! I wanted to be 220 and I am 217! So, either I lose a little more or maintain! I can deal with that. :-)

I am going to be super careful with what I eat, & keep up my exercising, which I rocked out this week.

In other news, my SIL went back to her abusive hubby on Wed. We are all less than thrilled, of course. She is an adult. We can't stop her. We told her it was her choice and that she needs to accept and understand the consequences of that choice. She knows there will not be another dramatic rescue. I told her to make sure she has the domestic hotline number easily available for when she needs to go to a shelter. She says she has it and is prepared for that. (Telling, right?)

Damn, she didn't even have the decency to tell her rescue friends that she was going back. She didn't even text them a goodbye or thank you once I told her I told them. The family told her we won't forgive him. She keeps saying he has changed, but in the next breath he told her she is not allowed to hug her male cousin because he doesn't like how long they hug. She is delusional.

Thankful:
Back to routine, and it's my friend

Goals:
Exercise tomorrow morning before E and I do an errand and before I see my family for a late breakfast. Have a great Spike day Sunday and be super aware all next week. Keep up my exercise routine. Try to get back to my 10 mins fit boarding.

Positive Thoughts:
I feel on top of the world. I love the happy that comes off me in waves.

Slight gain Saturday

No big 😄

Anniversary week followed by E's birthday week equals lots of big meals. There was also a Budget stress meal of Five Guys on Wed. A double bacon cheeseburger, with a strawberry milkshake and fries. But I regret nothing.

My routine will kick back in on Mon w exercise & healthier meals.

Thankful:
I control what I eat, and how much I eat. My emotions don't control my intake anymore. I am a new woman.

Goals:
Enjoy my weekend, revel in the no more budget stress, catch up house stuff. Start My exercise routine on Monday.

Positive Thoughts:
This was my first budget season I did not binge on bad days. Not once in the last month or so. Not even when I made a horrible error that had be corrected. Hell, I have not binged since 4/1/19 when I started my OMAD journey.

I am a new me. And I love her.

'Tis Friday and E's Birthday!

Tonight we are going out to dinner at a favorite diner for breakfast food. Followed by a coffee and reading time for me/ drawing time for him. Then we are going to see Spiderman: Far from Home again at a Cinema Pub were we are getting dessert nachos (they are actually regular nachos, we are just having them for dessert).

Tomorrow the guys are coming over for a big Clix game and I am making E's favorite meal:

Chocolate Chip Banana Cake with Banana glaze. (This was the first thing I ever cooked for him, minus the chocolate - it was also his birthday present since we were only dating 5 days at this point in 2001)

&

Chicken Francaise with broccoli and rice. (This was the first meal I cooked for him)

No weight loss today but no gain either. I call that a win after 2 anniversary dinners, and one early birthday dinner. Plus, pizza with the kids on Wed and leftover pizza last night.

This is going to be another heavy food weekend, since my chicken frenchy is the bomb diggity! I think I might do a EF fast Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat. Or maybe not. We shall see were the week takes me.

Thankful:
My mad cooking skills. They might have made me super fluffy, but what a ride!

Goals:
Have fun, eat, see if I don't binge this weekend. I am really not worried about it. I feel like I got this on lock.

Positive Thoughts:
Life is good. I love who I surrounded myself with and in turn, I feel loved and appreciated.
