Start Weight
244.7 lb
Lost so far: 13.6 lb

Current Weight
258.3 lb
Performance: gaining 2.1 lb a week

Goal Weight
225.0 lb
Still to go: 33.3 lb
I ballooned to 330-337 pounds after a motorcycle accident and stress from taking care of my parents until their passing, now I'm trying to get down not only for knee surgery by my over all well being and self esteem.

So far in the 7 months I've been working with a weight-loss clinic and joining here I've dropped to what you all see me logging now.

Once in the 'solid green' range, Even though I'm at a weight the ortho-surgeon says he can work with, I can get my twisted and maimed up knee fixed and be rid of so much pain I can actually sleep at night with out drugs...

Sleeping aids when mind just can't stop working
I take the trazadone every night, puts me to sleep like turning off a light switch without the groggy/zombie-like morning after.

Between the constant pain/ache of the knee and the foot under it being affected because of the odd angle it healed in, the arthritis that set in from all the breaks (Lt foot,Lt femur, Rt leg tib/fib & knee, etc...), stress (work's reaction to it all), grief and a dose of depression and weight gain that set in from having it all pile on all at once...it got to be too hard to "shut down" at night...prowling around 1:30/2/2:30am when I had to be up a 6am to go to work...

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I have a scale strapped to each foot, my bed posts have a scale on each corner it rests on, the house sits on a converted truck scale and even the seat sensor in the car (the one that detects if someone is there so it can activate the airbag) has been replaced with a gauge. That's how obsessed I am...

Where is everyone from?
A twinkle in my dad's eye, a swish of hips and a come hither look from my mom...

I do every morning after using the bathroom for the morning rituals but before getting dressed, make a note of what it was and later if I have time, log it here and over time you can see the progress on the graph.

Every day, first thing when I get up. I get used to normal day-to-day variations that way, and don't obsess over the details.

Don't forget..either naked on the scale or the same kind of underwear every time for consistency.
