I am 35. I just got married to the man of my dreams, but we spend a lot of time eating. We enjoy good food and good wine and sharing it together. He is an amateur body builder and I am a "professional dieter", so we know what we should be eating. When we are separated (he is in the army) we both slim down and shape up, but I need to find something that will change my body for the better forever. I have yo yo dieted my way from size 18 to 6 to 16 to 2 and back up to 14 and down to 8 and back up to 12. I have blood sugar issues and need to find out if I can find a way to eat healthy and stay eating healthy for life without feeling like I am completely doing without my favorite things. It would be nice to feel skinny and pretty while he is home instead of when he is 6000 miles away in Iraq.

WHat about Fat Free Cheese ?
I just started this diet and I had some questions about food substitutes that are not mentioned in the book. Can I have fat free egg product instead of egg whites? Can I have fat free cheese at all? I don't care for lentils or chick peas and worry about not getting enough protein. Also, to make oatmeal takes a cup of milk. Does this count as one of my two cups of skim milk a day?

I want to do this diet, but I also want to feel like I can succeed in it. It is hard if you have a picky palate. But a friend of mine did this diet and even with cheating sometimes and not exercising like she should she has lost a ton of weight, like 55 lbs. So I am giving it a shot.

Any help would be great!! Thanks
