Having a hard time losing weight. Trying to balance the correct amounts of fat,carb, protien per day with exercise. Have Hashimotos thyroid disease so it does not help things along. But I am really excited about this site as it combines a lot of tools and community to support my efforts. Plus, I can sync the site to my cell while I am on the go, that is a big bonus!

what do you eat after a workout?
O.K., is it that some protein before and after working out is better than carbs? I don't know, but am curious! And I would like to optimize my workout. I usually have some sort of whole food either oatmeal or an egg. But Whey is really good, think I will go back to eating that. If you put banana in that would that work?
