I'm 57 going on 35. I just don't feel my age yet and need to lose weight that I have put on during the past 9 years that I have lived in a different state. The weight is making feel old on the outside. I don't want to dress like a grandma yet, with big flower printed house dresses. Don't want to wear mini skirts or bikinis either, but come on.

I used to walk everyday and do aerobics. I was weighing about 172 and could wear a size 12. Now I am squeezing into 18s. AAAhhhhh!

Not giving up
Wow you guys........thanks! I'd never posted before and you guys are making more encouraged to do this. I had lost some 45 pounds 11 years ago, but I got comfortable or something, and now am dealing with all this weight. I'm also encouraged because a friend of mine ended up losing a foot due to diabetes. I don't want to have to be a burden to anyone. Thank you ....thank you...thank you all.

Sad I don't want to give up !!!!!! Since the last time I've been recording my food intake, I've probably gained 10 pounds.....I certainly feel it.
I've gotten so lazy and then maybe it's cabin fever after all. Whatever...I do appreciate this website so much.

Haven't kept up
I'm not losing anything, because I'm not sticking to any diet. My weight is running from 195 to as low as 191, and I just know I need to get more serious. Crying or Very sad
