I'm a transplanted Georgian from California. After the Navy I worked in the Nevada casino industry as a security officer, that was fun. Then we moved east to Kansas City to a casino riverboat, interesting but not as fun as Las Vegas or Laughlin Nevada. Moved south to Georgia to my wife's hometown. I love Georgia. With my military background somehow I ended up in the state prison system, not inside looking out, but as a Corrections Officer. Its a thankless job but I love it, I have a great job as the ID Officer.
We've been married now for 31 years. (Where has the time gone)Two kids, boy and a girl and two grandkids, boy and a girl. I've always been a dog person, but some how we adopted two stray cats, both would not have survived, but that was 8 years ago and now they rule the roost.
I'm 54 years old, 6'02"was 293# now 269# heading for 235# trying to get my weight under control again before it really effects my health, more than just elevated blood pressure which is currently 113/54.
Hobbies: Computers, reading anything, an unpublished writer, guns & knives and curiosity about everything, how things work, are built or invented. AND staying FIT.
