Share your tips for getting the water in!
to keep track of your water- take a rubber band and put 8 marks on it with a sharpie. Then put one mark on your water bottle. Line up the first line of the rubber band to the mark on the bottle. Move the rubber band every time you refill. When you are at the end of the marks you are done for the day... it also reminds you during the day how much more you need to drink.

self credit and affirmations
I really like that you talked about punishment,it really puts starvation diets in perspective. Setting the stage for self talk, sounds like a really good idea. I think I will work on my bathroom, its nice, but not personal. Thanks for the feed back!!!

Many of us chronic dieters have self talk that is down right mean. I think it is very important that we start to give our selves a little credit for doing all the healthy things we are doing. We need positive reinforcement to make this a lifestyle.

An example would be, when you drink a glass of water, or push away a plate that is not licked clean, say a little, “good job” or “woo hoo” to yourself. It can be just that simple.

Affirmations are also very helpful! Please share your favorite diet related affirmation.

10 reasons I want to lose weight
Ok the killer bees and the rasberries had me laughing....
How about, so I can cross my legs the way I use to.
Or to wear a bra that does not look and feel like hardware instead of underwear.
I taped this list to my exercise mac. today. and inside the fridge. I am very very forgetful when it comes to food.
I too am going to Florida in June (DW). Everyone says it is going to be hot as heck, but I am ready to get off this rock. Good motivation!
