I am a working mother of 3 children. I work at a desk all day answering phones for an IT helpdesk. By the time I get off work I'm mentally drained. I go home, supper, homework, baths and bed. That's my life 5 days a week. Weekends I don't want to do anything.
This is probably the typical life of a lot of working parents. So when can I take the time to exercise and for that mental break time for myself? My time is on Thursday nights when I go to my TOPS Club meeting. I can have conversations with other people who have the same problem as I do. They are all struggling to lose or maintain their weight. Most of the other members have been in Tops for years and are just like me, yo-yo dieting. Lose some and gain some. I can't seem to break that habit. Right now I have Metabolic Syndrome (High blood pressure, high sugar, etc). I want to be able to come off or at least reduce the dosage of my medication. The only way to do that is to lose this weight and exercise. I'm way to young for this.
I just want to be healthier so I can enjoy time with my child.
