I am a 30-something gal from Utah who has always struggled with food. I battled a 13-year eating disorder and finally found recovery about 4 years ago. There are still days that I struggle though. I use my blog to help others in their journey to get healthier and happier and also share healthy recipes there as well.

Vegetarian
Congrats on going vegetarian and the weight loss. I've been veg for about 11 years, and I'm dealing with some crazy health-issues and trying to pinpoint their source. I feel like I've been a healthy vegetarian, but I'm nervous that I've messed my body up by not giving it enough nutrients, and I can't imagine ever going back to eating meat.
Have you had any health issues since going veg?

Like others have said, if you're hungry, EAT! Your body is super smart and knows what it's talking about when its sending you hunger signals like a growling belly or hunger pains. Just make sure it's actual physical hunger and not something else like boredom, habit, or emotional hunger.
I eat about 5 times a day. Small meals and snacks. And if my body tells me its hungry, I don't ignore it anymore. That's a sure-fire way to mess up your metabolism.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Once a week. I used to be super obsessive about weighing myself multiple times a day even. Daily even started to mess with my mind. So now I'm happy with a weekly weighin, and it's never monday, since I generally do tend to eat more on the weekend.
