Well here's my story. I started atkins a couple years ago, and I did really well. I went from 180 to 140, which is a great weight for me considering I'm 5ft9. Then I got pregnant, so I started eating carbs, thinking I was starving baby. Then I miscarried really early at 6 weeks. So for almost a year, I've been on an emotional rollercoaster with trying to get pregnant again. Low carb didn't fit into that...til now! We're still trying. I'm actually really surprised I've only gained about 14 lbs! Anyway, I'm back. Plus, I need something besides getting pregnant to think about. When I do get pregnant, which should be soon due to clomid, I plan on moving up to maintenance phase and staying there the entire pregnancy. That way, I'll only have baby weight to lose after. Ha, easier said than done, right?
