Getting discouraged with the scale
doll2 wrote:
I have lost 45 lbs this year without really working out. I was walking. I changed my eating habits and started watching my portions. Rececently, I have started to work out at home with the Wii. I love the Wii fit (yoga, strength and arobics). I am getting discouraged because when I weigh myself, my weight seems to be climbing. I do feel like I am getting stronger and more fit. Am I just freaking myself out by the number on the scale? I think I just answered my own post.
Guess I am looking for some reissurance besides my husband. He's great and very complimentary. I think he's just a little bias.
The closer you get to your goal, the slower your progress will be. For the record, you are not going to gain any muscle by doing Wii Fit. You need to lift heavy for that to happen.
