New to lifestyle change
Hello,
I am new guy to this forum and the lifestyle change I am undertaking. I have chosen to do something positive with my self and try to loose some weight. I am currently not following any diet, but I have done some basic research on my daily caloric intake requirements and I use the calorie counter food diary religiously. I do not exercise... I find I just really, really hate it.
So long story short I have lost 18 pounds since September 14th. I know this is rather fast, but I recently started meridia and it is helping a ton.
I just weighed in today and it appears that I have gained 4 pounds. I just don't understand why. Unless I am grossly underestimating my portions, I cannot understand what would have made me gain 4 pounds in 7 days. I have not skipped a single item on my food diary and have gone so far as to measure my portions with measuring cups as needed. What would be causing this?
I have been sticking to under 2000 calories a day. I am currently at 304 pounds. Height 6' 3", age 25. My recommended intake is around 3000 calories a day I think. So I am well under. I have not really been eyeballing my fat intake. I figure that the calories should correspond to the fat intake correct? Is my fat intake messing me up? Any help greatly appreciated!
