I feel like death warmed over. My measurements are horrendous. My B/P is 156/116 and I've had a headache for 2 days. Time for a big change.

I'm getting closer to breaking that 250lb barrier. I have found this pretty easy to follow. I did also step up my exercise to 10 minutes of jogging and 20 minutes of walking. I love jogging, but my doctor warned me before not to jog until I was 150 or less. The 10 minutes have not caused any knee pain, but I feel exhilarated and enjoy my exercise more. I have an off plan meal each week to use. I'm going to use mine for Shabbat and holidays. Rosh Hashana is coming up Sunday night. I may have a very minor splurge that night. There will also be services on Monday with Oneg after.

I'm letting myself splurge a little for Shabbat. My true "off plan" meal will be tomorrow night. We are going to a seminar. When we go out for dinner I don't want to worry about what I can eat. I'm still under 1700 calories today. I will have a bedtime snack of strawberry whey protein shake and just get in the protein and fat as Mark Macdonald said if you eat something like an off plan meal.

I have been stuck on Atkins. I heard Mark Macdonald speak at a convention. The things he was saying made sense. I took the book out of the library and since last Saturday my hips are down 2" and my waist is down 1". I am not having any more afternoon slumps. All in all I am feeling better and getting off the plateu I've been having problems with. This plan also allows for an "off plan" meal once a week where I can splurge if I desire. This will make special events and holidays easier.

I'm feeling a bit frustrated. Weight not changing much. I will be more diligent at recording and make sure that I am eating enough.
