I was thin before I came to live to the USA.
I was was battling with 5 kg at most when I was living in Europe.
I got married to American guy and was transplanted to the USA and my weight started to grow- because there was no usual running/walking activities and the diet was different. I packed +40 kg just in few years of "dining out" as my husband didn't like to eat at home. And we were not eating any fast food, just regular "quality restaurant food" packed with salt,fats and what's not.
Long story short: I went on the water fast for 14 days, than for 3 months freshly pressed juices and lost 40+ kg I was collecting for 10 years. I felt great. My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away.I started to eat compulsively and got back 20 kg in just two years after my weight loss. Finally I decided that it is a time to build muscles to get rid of Yo-yo effect. No I am on my second season of triathlon endurance sport( swimming/cycling/running), doing Yoga for flexibility,Russian dumbbells and body strength exercises. I lost some weight, I build up some muscles and working on my abdomen area. I totally changed my diet to raw vegetarian style, do not eat cooked food most of the time and drink a lot of freshly pressed juices and green smoothies.I need to get lighter for my running and cycling!I just got myself a Fitbit to control my sleep and everyday activity.
