I'm a 41 year old mother of 4, in a GREAT relationship with a Navy Chief who I love very much and is so much support for me. I started out in Jan of 2007 at 220 lbs and currently am down to as of this morning 143.6 WOOO HOOO!!! My goal is 130-133 things do fluctuate a little.

I started my journey in 2007 with the use of Turbo Jam followed by P90X and INSANITY all GREAT Beachbody programs its not just an infomercial its reality. I did win 1000.00 in the Million Dollar Body Game Transformation in Sept of 2008 and was so proud. Then kinda slacked and hung out in the 150s for about a year. Now I'm back on my quest to build muscle and banish fat. Would like to compete in Bodybuilding some day possibly.

My Goals in life are to get out of the restaurant business and into the Fitness business. I'm a coach with Beachbody (www.fitnblnde5.com) and working on getting my nutrition certification I want to help those that are overweight and unhealthy realize THEY CAN DO THIS!!! It feels so good and the main thing we all need is support. I'm here to help out anyone any time with questions and thoughts.. I love the new skin I'm in and want everyone else to love theirs too!!! Together with my man our goal for the future is to help people as a couple get healthy and fit.

If you BELIEVE in it you CAN achieve it!!!!!

Aquababy.. I totally hear you why pay for the same motivation you can find for free online. Hey we'll be here for you.. 103 pounds is a journey and a big chunk to look at so I'd suggest breaking it down.. where your starting from and shoot for the first 10 or 15 or even 5 first.. make little mile stones.. so much more fun to take 1 from 5 than 1 from 103... makes the finish line seem closer. If you haven't seen it checkout the book The Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno.. it is a GREAT book. Not a diet really but more of a lifestyle change. Easy and fun to read and GREAT information. Its all about changing your outlook on food...

As far as things that helped me in the beginning...
#1 was to find something about myself I did like and not focus on the weight what you focus on grows... I liked my smile ... seems simple enough and silly but I'd smile at myself each day and say I can do this...
#2 park 3 spaces away from the closest space to the store, dr or wherever it is your going.. sounds silly but its an extra 18 - 20 feet/steps you'll be walking in each direction just a little added exercise without even knowing it.
#3 Be mindful of what you eat.. with each bite think and even say out loud "is this going to help me get to my goal" if not consider changing what your eating and if you decide to still eat it don't beat yourself up for it because that added stress only makes things worse. #4 if you have a "bad" day its ok tomorrow is a new day start again..
#5 BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE because you can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I BELIEVE in you and you can do this

remember there is no magic pill and its 85% diet at least if not more so be ready and prepare when you go out to take stuff with you. Never go hungry. When you get hungry and tired those are trigger points to let your nutrition slide don't fall victim to it. and most of all

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone I'm very happy to be here... Marciamay... All the Beachbody programs are beyond AWESOME and if you haven't heard yet Chalene just put out another one... TURBO FIRE!!! Like Insanity..but with Chalene and her cute little voice to push you alone. I'll be getting it next. (you can find it on my site if your interested in checking it out.. www.fitnblnde5.com ) To answer your question of 1200 calories.. personal opinion and things I've seen in my own life..is that may not be enough.. with what your burning you need to make sure you have enough to sustain and you DON"T want to cut back further your body will go into starvation mode and you will just stay at a plateau. I'd up the protein to try to reach your body weight in grams of protein a day or at least close. I'm working on raising my calories as well. Realized that was probably why I wasn't losing again because I had cut back to far with the workouts I was doing. Don't forget your fiber in there and up the protein gradually or you may end up really gassy.. (oops) Where your carbs are coming from is also a good thing to look at. and since diet is 85% of this journey take the time to look at it. If you need some suggestions let me know.
